The first Independent Interiors Show is set to take place in Manchester on September 28th. The event hopes to attract 200 “interiors enthusiasts” to the unique surroundings of 2022NQ. Some of the North West’s most talented designers have signed up to exhibit at the show including Manchester Mosaics, Inspirit, Annabel Perrin and Aunty Mabel’s Seat. Co Event Organiser Rachael Adams commented, “The Independent Interiors Show was born out of a passion for independent design and the desire to create a platform for independent homeware designers to sell their products to the public. Many of the brands we have on board, our visitors may not be familiar with so it’s great to get them in front of a new audience.” One of the highlights of the show will be the launch of new homewares brand Lomas & Lomas who will be exhibiting their range of up-cycled and digitally designed products inspired by nature, wildlife and a love of all things vintage.
A series of talks and demos will take place during the one day event, headlined by North West interiors expert and property developer Sian Astley of Moregeous Design Studio, who was recently voted in the Top 50 interior design websites by The Telegraph. Commenting on her involvement with the event, Sian, a passionate supporter of British design talent said: ‘Finally Manchester is getting its own interiors show and I’m delighted to be involved alongside the fabulous designer-maker talent which the North has to offer.
